The locusts are normally shy creatures but undergo dramatic transformations in both appearance and behavior. They swap their colors, become more aggressive and highly destructive. At that moment, they do not want to keep a low profile, but instead get ready to swarm. The visual language for the first decade of Cairo Video Festival was meant to be differen than any previous year. Bold, colorful, strong and distinct, these were the main characteristics of the identity.
